Due to the fact that all of my products are digital, they cannot be returned or exchanged. I cannot issue refunds after the purchase is made. Please review the theme demos and features prior to purchasing. If you have specific questions, please contact me at [email protected] before you purchase.
COPYRIGHT POLICY
By purchasing a WordPress theme from my website, you agree to the following terms:
Each theme purchase may be used for ONE website only. If you are found in violation of this policy, you will be required to purchase additional licenses and/or immediately shut down all websites with unauthorized installations of the theme. I reserve the right to refuse future products and services to anyone found in violation of this policy. Additionally, by violating this policy, you will be refused any future customer support even if you purchase additional licenses after the initial violation.
If you are using this WordPress theme to build a design for a client, you are prohibited from claiming or promoting these web designs as your own.
You may not resell the design or claim the design as your own.
You may not share the WordPress theme, graphics, files or any design elements provided in your purchase with anyone else.
The design is copyrighted Louise McGuire and Louise McGuire owns the rights to all designs and files (excluding any photography) included in your purchase and design.
THEME SUPPORT POLICY
I am happy to help you with issues relating to the WordPress theme itself, the install/build, the downloads, the provided files and any problems that might arise with these. Theme support will expire 6 months from the date of theme purchase.
Unfortunately, I do not have the capacity to help with general WordPress related questions, theme customizations, coding modifications or any problems that might arise from them, or any problems you are having with software. Specifically, theme support does not include the following:
– Theme support does not include services to modify or extend the theme beyond the original features, style and functionality as described on the theme product page and theme demo.
– Theme support does not cover issues with your web hosting or server environment, or issues with the WordPress installation you have installed on your own website or a client website.
You will be entitled to receive all future updates to the theme for the lifetime of the product, until the product is removed from the shop.
If you violate the Copyright policies stated above, you will be refused any future theme support for the life of the product, regardless of if you purchase additional products or licenses from the shop.
WEB HOSTING TERMS – FIRST 12 MONTHS
The first year of the WordPress Web Hosting Program includes:
- One license of any theme in the shop (for one website only)
- 12 months of web hosting services
- Installation of WordPress on your website
- Installation of a copy* of the selected theme on your website
- One installation of the WP Rocket plugin on your website
- Installation of free, optional WordPress plugins such as Yoast SEO
- Monthly updates of WordPress and all active plugins on your website
- Extended theme support beyond the standard term of 6 months
* As noted in each theme description, some themes use premium fonts to create the styles featured in the theme demo. If you want to use the same exact font styles, you need to purchase a one-time webfont license for any premium fonts noted for your selected theme.
The WordPress Web Hosting program does not include the following:
- As noted in each theme description, a webfont license for all premium fonts must be purchased separately.
- After the initial theme installation service is completed, you will need to add in your own content to the theme pages. The theme installation will include the placeholder text and images, only. You will use the Elementor Website Builder to add in your own content before launching your website.
WEB HOSTING – ADD-ON SERVICES
In addition to the services described above, you can choose to add-on extra services:
- Domain Registration, priced at $35/year – your domain will be managed with your web hosting service
- Subscription to Google Workspace, priced at $7/month – billed annually at $84/year
WEB HOSTING RENEWAL OR CANCELLATION
After the first year, web hosting services will renew annually at a rate of $19/month for a total annual bill of $228. By renewing the web hosting services, you will continue to receive the following services:
- 12 months of web hosting services
- One installation of the WP Rocket plugin on your website
- Monthly updates of WordPress and all active plugins on your website
- Extended theme support beyond the standard term of 6 months
If you purchased any of the add-on services, including the domain registration ($35) and/or Google Workspace($84), you will continue to receive these services upon repayment each year.
You can cancel your subscription to the web hosting services and the add-on services at any time. You will not receive a refund for any services previously billed, but you will not be billed upon expiration of the current term in which you canceled the services.
If you do not pay for ongoing web hosting services, your account will be terminated and it can lead to down-time of your website or loss of your WordPress website data. You can also make arrangements in advanced of the next billing period to switch your website to another platform or web hosting service.
It is important to maintain an active subscription to web hosting services to manage any WordPress website. You will receive communication in advance of the next billing period and you will be notified before any future payment is due.
WEB HOSTING TERMS – EXISTING WORDPRESS USER
If you already have a WordPress website, I can assist with the transfer of your current website to the new web hosting. I can assist with updating the settings of your domain name, as needed.
**When a new theme is installed on your website, all of the pages will be added in addition to what you already have. Activating a new WordPress theme will result in changes to the layouts / styles of any pages you installed with a previous theme. However, old pages will not be removed from your website.
Once the new theme is installed, you will need to use the Elementor Website Builder to add in your own content to the new theme pages that are added to your website as part of the installation service.
If you have single blog posts created with the WordPress editor, all of the blog content will remain the same. The single blog posts will simply take on the style of your new theme.
WEB HOSTING TERMS – SWITCHING PLATFORMS
This program can help you navigate the more technical process of switching from another platform such as Wix or Squarespace. If you would like, we can setup a WordPress website on a temporary URL. This will allow your current website on the other platform to remain live while you work in the background on your WordPress website. When you are ready, you can publish the WordPress website to your main domain name.
**Please note that if you are transferring from another platform, none of the content will be transferred to your new WordPress website automatically.
A new installation of WordPress will be installed on a temporary website domain. Once the new theme is installed, you will need to use the Elementor Website Builder to add in your own content to the new theme pages that are added to your website as part of the installation service.
